General terms and conditions

General conditions of sale and delivery

Displayfabriken follows general recommendations for the industry.

Conclusion of contracts

The seller is bound only after he has given written acceptance of the order.

Delivery time

The time of delivery shall, if possible, be in accordance with the buyer’s terms. Delivery shall be deemed to have been made in due time if the goods have been dispatched by the seller or, as the case may be, have been reported ready for collection by the buyer within the delivery period. If a party finds that he cannot keep the agreed time for delivery or receipt of the goods, the other party shall be notified without delay. Strikes, lockouts, operational disturbances, force majeure, etc. extend the delivery commitments for a corresponding period.

Terms of delivery

Shipping costs are paid by the buyer, unless otherwise agreed (or as quoted). The seller can cancel a previously accepted order if there is an outstanding financial relationship with the buyer.

Quantity

The seller reserves the right to over- or under-deliver by a maximum of 5% of the agreed quantity.

Price adjustment

Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of the quotation unless otherwise agreed in writing. In other respects, prices are subject to any currency or raw material price changes greater than +/-2%. Displayfabriken AB shall be entitled to make price changes to previous prices, price lists and quotations without notice, unless otherwise agreed.

Value added tax

The purchase price does not include VAT. This is added at a rate of 25% on all prices.

Terms of payment

Payment terms 30 days after usual credit check. Interest on arrears is currently applied at 6%. In the event of an unpaid invoice, Svea ekonomi assumes responsibility for payment. All additional costs will then be charged according to law.

Packaging

Packaging is always charged unless otherwise agreed.

Shipment

Goods are shipped at the buyer’s expense and risk. Responsibility for delivery passes to the buyer as soon as the goods are delivered from us to the carrier. The buyer is responsible for notifying the carrier immediately of any goods damaged in transit.

Complaints

Any complaints about delivered goods must be made immediately after receipt of the goods. If the complaint is accepted, full compensation will be paid according to the invoiced value of the goods. The seller will not compensate for other losses, nor for consequential damages such as loss of income, loss of time, daily fines, etc. unless further liability is expressly agreed at the time of purchase.

Product liability

The seller is not liable for the goods being fit for any particular purpose unless he has given a written guarantee that this is the case. The seller is not obliged to compensate the buyer for damage caused by harmful properties of the goods. The buyer shall be liable to third parties for any harmful properties of the goods.

Reservation of title

The seller reserves the right to repossess the property sold until the buyer has fulfilled all payment obligations under this contract.
